Even though the weather wasn't so great (freezing cold and snowing half the weekend), it was a great trip and a wonderful weekend and I was thrilled to get out of Paris and spend some quality time with Lionel!
You were so close to Metz! We have Christmas markets too! :-p Trier and Luxembourg are pretty awesome though, it's nice to see people discovering them, reminds me that I have some cool stuff nearby and should take advantage more often! Glad you had a good trip, and the weather didn't cause too much trouble!

adt hotels, Germany does look quite wonderful in the winter and of course I tasted some of the gluhwein...in fact quite a bit of it because it was so good!
